My professor honestly told us today that
“once you are done reading a book and close it, the characters are dead. No more ‘then they live happily ever after’. They don’t have a life anymore, they die as the book ends.”
I just stood there, completely flabbergasted.
HE IS OBVIOUSLY NOT A FANGIRL. Like, am I supposed to think that Mondler just died after the last Friends episode cos “oh, this is the last script so now the characters are dead.”?!
