Many words come to mind when I hear or see this name, but one of the more significant ones is “inspiration.” He’s done a lot more than most people realize; he’s not just Chandler Bing, and frankly nothing pisses me off more than when people refer to him as “Chandler.” He’s done everything from comedies to comedic dramas to television movies to intense dramas and has excelled in every one of them, switching from tv sets to movie sets.
There are some who think he’s a jerk based on the time period of after Friends, where he admitted that he had lost his way, and yet he continued to persevere through the hate and even created a character drawing on that time period. He’s a much bigger person than those who continue to think little of him.
Everything he’s gone through, everything he’s faced, everything that he’s made his way to the other side from is what keeps me going each day. Music can save lives, but so can people. Without him, I wouldn’t be almost 6 months clean. Without him, I wouldn’t have a solid reason to move on from that part of my life. Without him, I wouldn’t have sobriety, and “if I don’t have sobriety, I don’t have anything.” Wise words said by this incredible person, and those are what I live by.
