Couples who never fight, never have a little drama and are too vanilla and stuff are always going to be boring to the audience, that’s a given; but when drama is all that is a couple it’s even worse to me. When two people take eons to get with each other and in the meantime they fight constantly, or they make each other miserable or seem to be unable to make their relationship work why am i supposed to ship them? 

I fell in love with Mondler because they were, before being lovers, best friends who told each other everything that mattered, they knew eachother’s limits, problems and flaws and worked THROUGH them and then PAST them, or when they couldn’t, they accepted those flaws and loved each others even more because of them. There was some drama, there were fights but ultimately they discussed the problem and solved it moved on together, like a team. They WERE a team, they were a great team.

Ross and Rachel on the other hand were all drama and big gestures but they never solved their problems. We didn’t get any resolution, just a “I got off the plane” and an half-assed promise to never screw up again. Guess what, after all they put each others through i don’t believe it for a second.
