They are fucking amazing actors, but let me tell you, what they said right there - it’s sincere. They do love each other, obviously! They’ve been through so much together and they have a very special bond - just when you look at behind the scenes stuff, how they act around each other, always joking around, flirting, touching each other. It’s not acted, it’s genuine. BUT there still is something between them that we’ll never know, and that is why they (99%) won’t get together. The only way you could make me understand why they wouldn’t be perfect for each other is that the both of them sit me down and explain to me why exactly they’re not gonna cross that friendship line (or if they in fact did, why it didn’t work out).
And I agree, it makes my heart so warm just how much they love each other, but it also breaks it a little bit because there’s so much more to it than what we see.
