As English is not my first language, I'm not sure if I understood correctly what Matthew said about the down side of not getting married (the up side was he did not get divorced). I understood "all the weeping", which could mean he had a lot of teardrops as a baggage - did I got that right? What do you think? Thanks!

Yeah, I think he meant that the good thing about it was that he didn’t get a divorce, but the bad thing is basically that he also never got married - and weeping probably standing for the loneliness? How I understood it, not sure. ;)
