I think she really is proud and she is very thankful for having been on it. She always answers twitter questions about it (even though some are so repetitive…) and just a few yrs ago she always said she’d totally be up for a reunion or something of that sort.
But I get what you mean. Lately, she’s always said that it’s not gonna happen, I wonder what changed her mind so suddenly. And what also makes me sad is that she forgot so many lines, she doesn’t remember some of the plot details apparently and she said that Coco only watches Friends sometimes and finds it ‘quite funny’ or something. FRIENDS IS THE BEST FUCKING THING EVER!! My kids will grow up watching that show, I swear! And it makes me sad that Coco wasn’t part of that and grew up with Cougar Town, which, imo, is pretty crappy. You can’t even begin to compare these two shows!
So yeah, it’s quite interesting how Matty’s view on Friends has switched from wanting to move on from it (circa 2005-2011) until finally really embracing it and admitting he even wants to go back and to even agree to a reunion thingy.
And perhaps Courteney’s view has changed on it too… I’m not sure.
