It kind of freaks me out seeing those pictures of MP and CC during the premiere of Fools rush in - what'd be behind the scenes in there? He is so thin, that was the time he was high on pills, and there came a time he could not hide it anymore from his co-stars in Friends. I wonder if CC was there because of their strong bond, giving him support on a hard time for him. I kind of sense an aura of sadness on both of them, idk, maybe i'm biased. But I kind of fell sorry, sad, idk, seeing those pics.

I don’t think any of us can deny that it was a very sad and dark time during Matthew’s life. And that it obviously also affected his cast mates.

The idea that she came there to support him even in tough times makes the whole thing a little less sad.

Your ask/thoughts have put me in a somber mood too as I tried to reflect on that time. Obviously the smiles hide something very painful.
