I feel agree with what the anon said with cougar town! There was a scene where she had to kiss her ex husband, literally could've been MP. I think after CC and David broke up she would've been a wreck on the show and MP would've been there to comfort her rather than josh or Bryan (not that I dislike them) and I think the make out session was with Bryan because shortly after they dated. But that's just my opinion!

Hm, never really thought about it in that way… Quite interesting. Though most of the time I’m thinking that if they wanted to be together they would have already found a way to make it work. But then again I don’t understand how they are still so flirty with each other and CC keeps saying how much she loves him/how much fun they’re having while MP constantly hits on her and shows off for her. Then why aren’t they a thing? It’s one big mystery.
