Hm, that is interesting! I have not found anything online so I assume you live in LA and heard some rumours yourself?
On the one hand, I can really see that this could have happened. And I hope it did because it just shows how much CC’s friends actually care and want to look out for her. And I can also see she then would be offended (at first) because when you’re in love you just don’t (want to) see the problems or a possible future break-up etc.
Now on the other hand, I am not sure if it’s true. Mainly because I think that Matty is rather self-involved and not the kind of guy who interferes with other relationships. But that is just how I see him from an outsider’s perspective; he might be completely different in private and around people he knows and cares about. And also, CC just seems too sweet to be holding grudges against someone.
But who knows… Thanks very much for letting me know about this. It sure is an intriguing question.
