Thank you all for your two cents, I’m quite impressed by how much thought you all have put into this. I think most of the things you have mentioned seem quite plausible and might have something to do with his acting/portrayal of the character or maybe even personal issues. I just hope he really is doing fine and that the show gets picked up for a second season because the ensemble cast is really great.
